It Is not Sadness, It Is Melancholy (Act l)
[Lyrics: Víctor Moreno, Music: Goliard]

The sad a few is consoled,
the melancholic a few is forgotten.

Searching light in the darkness womb I return
to the premise that breaks with the hopes existence:
We are the summitry of thousands voids,
a differential reason that doesn’t justifies the cry…
Sovereign science, unveil the curtain

But the tragedy claims her throne…!

It isn’t sadness, It’s melancholy:
Tense, acute, simple… melancholy…

Tense, acute, simple… melancholy…

The sad a few is consoled,
the melancholic a few is forgotten.

An “axiom” prevails arcane over the thresholds of the chaos:
the movement exist by antonomasia,
and the time says: the neutral one it revels uncertain…

And my reason screams:
“A man without hopes is a freeman!”.

It isn’t sadness, It’s melancholy:
Tense, acute, simple… melancholy…

But the tragedy claims her throne…!
